From New York to Paris, chalky hues, layers of ruffles and fringe and frosty lamé bejeweled the runways in recent fashion weeks. Next Spring will usher in bright whites, highlighted at Sally Lapointe and Monique Lhuillier - we like the idea of keeping things clean and monochromatic with matching tonal jewelry or using this trend as a backdrop to showcase some extra-bright baubles. Shimmering lamé and silky textures were featured at Carolina Herrera, Sies Marjan, Marchesa, Fendi and more, so dig through your closet, or your mom's, and bring out some 70's glamour of yester-year.
